What: This class is designed for any basic diver who would like to become more skilled and knowledgeable in the prevention of diving accidents and helpful in case of diving emergencies. The rescue course consists of a text & workbook and video, classroom sessions, pool work, open water skill evaluations and a final exam.

Who: This class is open to any certified basic scuba diver.

When: The class can be completed in as little as one weekend or three evenings and one-half day of open water skill evaluation. Classroom and Pool can be completed prior to one of our Florida weekend trips where the open water dives can be completed. Open water can be done locally in May, June, July, August or September.

Where: The Illinois Institute of Diving

Class size: 2 to 8 students per class.
